Ready Set Print is looking for an exceptional design candidate to help shape our clients Online Store Fronts. Prior experience designing and implementing interfaces for a consumer internet products are a must. The ideal candidate would have a deep understanding of design principles, as well as technical ability.

Responsibilities:

·         Help develop a unified vision for our products online look and feel

·         Standardize user interactions and interface

·         Be involved in product branding and developing the company “personality”

·         Implement key, public-facing pages and collateral for marketing

Requirements:

·         Experience designing and implementing user interfaces in consumer internet products

·         Be uncompromising on creating a compelling product and a great user experience

·         Strong focus on usability, efficiency, and scalability

·         Design diversity; ability to design for a variety of audiences and use cases

·         Passionate about metrics, but have confidence in making judgement calls

·         Can provide a portfolio of relevant past design work or demonstrate ability (submit links)
 
·         Understanding of SEO/SEM concepts and practices

·         Ability to multi task and work on multiple projects

 Ideal candidate:

·         Skills: HTML, CSS, PHP, XML, JavaScript, MySQL, social networking integration and implementation. 

·         Incredible design sense; can build beautiful interfaces

·         A zealot for detail and perfection

·         Highly independent and eager to learn new things 

·         A portfolio showcasing working examples of standards-based code or a significant website that you have worked on

 ** An asset if you have a knowledge of Shell Scripting, Windows (XP, 2000), Adobe (Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Illustrator, InDesign)
